is an independently owned and fully insured home inspection company serving the state of New Jersey. Fundamentals Home Inspections, LLC was founded and operated by Mohamed Bassiouny.
Mohamed is a Civil Engineer who has been working in the engineering and construction industry for over a decade.
Mohamed has always been interested in the construction process since his early years. Mohamed started working part-time while he was in middle and high school in a contracting company owned by a family member. Although his role was not major, he gained exposure to different aspects of construction at an early age.
After high school, Mohamed decided to study civil engineering. After a few years, he graduated from NJIT with a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
He started his career as a design engineer for prestigious multi-national engineering firms working on multi-million dollar projects. He decided to strengthen his site/field experience and pursue a new opportunity after learning and absorbing the most from his design Career.
He started a new position as a field engineer, this role exposed him to construction/project management and contracting. Mohamed did not settle only for the design and site/field experience, he continued his education by adding more reputable professional certificates to his portfolio. He worked towards his Certified Construction Management certificate (CCM), Risk Management Professional (RMP), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Mohamed is currently working as a contractor, managing projects over $70 Million in NYC.
While he has achieved a lot of his dreams. He has always dreamed of starting his own business. He decided to become a professional home inspector and start Fundamentals Home Inspection!
